We love and appreciate our former selves even after abuse. We honor our previous natures for their hard work and diligent effort. These former identities challenged many boundaries, often unbeknownst to them. They deserve our respect.
Thank you, mysterious, that we are able to recognize when we feel threatened and snappily determine severity. We appreciate the scatterbrained trait because it assists with creative planning and spontaneous laughter. Gratitude, great, that we are able, willing, and quick to trust, protect, and nurture our personal joys and those of others.
Your plan, my plan, plans that belong to other people, countries, worlds. Let's respect all of them. Each of us deserves time and energy, patience and kindness. In time, we decide on our definitions of meaning and purpose. We observe that we are good and sometimes our actions are good or bad, amazing or terrible, considerate or irresponsible. We appreciate and work with our own irresponsible actions.
Sometimes, we walk away to protect ourselves and don't understand why. Thank you that we instinctively take care of our needs. Our work is to create and share ample patience and an appropriate amount of impatience to satisfy our human needs for adventure and structure. Morality and immorality. Yin, yang.
During this expectation-filled time of year, may we experience deep compassion for all of our opinions, spicy laughter that invigorates our curiosity, and assertive communication in confident grace.
